Website and Innovation Hub terms

Rules for using the JP Innovation website and participating in its practical and creative member network.

Last updated: 16 August 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to the JP Innovation Ltd public website and Innovation Hub. Using the website or creating a Hub account means you agree to them. Engineering projects supplied by JP Innovation may also be governed by a separate quotation, scope or service agreement; that project agreement takes priority where it conflicts with these website terms.

2. Hub accounts, membership, trial and cancellation

A Free Client account is intended for people or organisations seeking help, services or expertise. It may post Client Requests and manage responses to its own Requests, but cannot respond commercially to other people’s Requests, advertise services or use paid Professional / Business benefits. There is no separate free community membership.

Hub Member and Founding Member accounts are paid Professional / Business memberships. They may respond to Client opportunities and use the eligible commercial, networking, reputation and promotional features described at the time of membership. Founding Members inherit normal paid Hub Member permissions plus applicable Founding benefits.

Registering interest does not create a paid account, start a trial or take payment. Applications and profiles may be reviewed before an invitation is issued. When membership activation opens, the subscription offer shown at checkout will state the monthly price, any applicable VAT, the 14-day free-trial end date and the date of the first payment before payment details are confirmed.

Members may cancel anytime. Cancelling prevents the next renewal while access continues until the end of the free trial or current paid billing period. A cancellation made during the free trial results in no membership charge. Founding pricing is reserved for eligible members admitted within the Founding 100 and remains attached to that account, including if the member cancels and later returns, subject to the offer presented at activation.

You must provide accurate information, keep login details secure and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised access. Accounts and membership access may not be transferred.

3. Professional conduct

Members must communicate professionally and must not post unlawful, misleading, abusive, discriminatory, unsafe, infringing or spam content. Do not upload confidential project material, personal information or images unless you have permission to share them.

4. Member content and project highlights

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give JP Innovation a non-exclusive permission to host, display, resize and reproduce that content only as needed to operate, promote and moderate the Hub. You confirm that you own the content or have permission to publish it and that descriptions of skills, experience and projects are accurate.

5. Jobs, services and classifieds

Member listings are supplied by their authors. JP Innovation does not guarantee identity, qualifications, availability, quality, legality or accuracy unless expressly stated. JP Innovation does not process classified payments or arrange delivery. Members must carry out their own checks and agree contracts, payment, insurance and delivery directly.

6. Engineering information

Community discussions and member content are general information, not a substitute for project-specific professional advice, calculations, testing, certification or regulatory approval. Users remain responsible for checking information before relying on it in any design, manufacture or safety-critical application.

7. Moderation and account action

JP Innovation may review reported or suspicious content and may edit category assignments, hide or remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts or end access where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users or comply with law. Serious or repeated breaches may result in immediate action.

8. Intellectual property

The JP Innovation name, logo, website design and original site content belong to JP Innovation Ltd or its licensors. They may not be copied, modified or used commercially without written permission. Third-party names and materials remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Availability and liability

We aim to provide a dependable service but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JP Innovation is not responsible for losses caused by member statements, third-party transactions, external links, unauthorised reliance on general Hub information or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Changes and governing law

Features and these terms may change as the Hub develops. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.
